A diet where you eat less for just 2 days a week has been in all the papers and is the subject of several best selling books.


The idea of losing weight by simply restricting your calories to 500 per day (600 for men) twice weekly may sound too good to be true.


Medical research has shown that this method not only helps with weight loss but also stimulates the body to repair, regenerate and renew itself.


Many people have found that “The Fast Diet ” is the first weight loss method that has worked for them “because you don’t have to think about it most of the time”.


The programme works because it puts you firmly in control of your eating - and that is the key to sustaining weight loss.


The trouble with most diets is that they make you feel constantly deprived and unnaturally obsessed with food.


Recent research has shown that conventional diets don’t work - you may lose the weight initially, but if you haven’t changed your mindset towards food - dieting often results in actually gaining weight in the longer term.


Having gained weight myself in recent years, through a fondness for chocolate and crisps, I recently found myself taking a personal interest in the subject of weight loss - preferably where I could have my cake and eat it.


I decided to undergo self hypnosis and adhere to my own version of The 5:2 Fast Diet.

























Having lost 2 stone and several inches, my friends were amazed at the transformation in such a short period of time - especially since I was still able to enjoy eating chocolate and having an occasional glass of wine.


My GP was similarly impressed with my significantly lower cholesterol readings.


I was encouraged to develop a new weight loss program which I could offer to clients.
